Honey pie

So last night I completed another wonderful Christmas gift for brother #2 DCK. I made him some simple skull shaped coasters. Now the embroidery looks a bit funky, but this brother of mine is completely crazy so they work for him.

I used cotton yarn, lilly sugar n’ cream creamy color for the main part of the skull and I use impeccable cotton in black for the edge and embroidery. I made a small circle with sc and then added the chin part of the skull by turning. They are really simple.

I made them this way because I am about to begin working on some skull potholders for lovely brother #1, PJK. And I wanted to see if doing it this way would work. And it did.
